I can happily say that I am writing this post from the semi comfortable seat at my gate at JFK, waiting for my flight to Rome. During the last 8 hours I have learned three things:
I am truly grateful that Hartsfield-Jackson is my home airport. It may be full all the time, but at least you can get to one terminal without having to leave the airport and go through security again. They also have amazing—and by that I mean any—signage that helps to get through the worlds busiest airport.
I hate JFK Airport in it’s entirety.
Bring snacks because SOME airports don’t have food at the terminals. Not even the Starbucks.
All and all, the first leg of my trip was a bit crazy, but I’ve learned a lot already. Now, off to Rome.
Update at 9:34 PM EST: The seat next to me is empty!!! Truely blessed 🙌🏾🙌🏾
