I am happy—way happier than I was 9+ hours ago—to say I’m writing this from a very busy cafe in the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport. I’ve learned a few times since my last post:
Having the whole row to yourself on an 8 hour flight is truely amazing. You can stretch and use the bathroom as many times as you want without having to hear anyone complain.
Airplane food isn’t too terrible. Especially when it’s the first thing you’ve eaten since noon.
Italians stare as I walk around. Need to get used to it.
Roman airport pizza is better than any pizza I’ve had in the states.
It‘s great to make friends as early as New York so you can get lost in the airport together.
Soon the bus will arrive to take me to Perugia. Only 2 and half more hours until I can sit down and not have to move for a while.
